In this example, the “Find” feature was used to review shots on goal. This helped the team to recognize how the other team broke down the defense to allow the shot.
- Get the most out of your time when reviewing game film with your players.
- Easy data entry: Intuitive keyboard shortcuts make it easy for the coach to enter the game action.
- Quickly find the action you want to see: There may be one particular aspect of a game that your team is struggling with, such as corner kicks in soccer, three point shots in basketball, or sets in volleyball. You may also want to focus on individual players to give them one-on-one help. The following tools let you instantly navigate to any part of the game with the click of a button:
- Sort – Sort the plays based on selected actions, results or players.
- Filter – Display clips from the game that meet selected criteria. For example, players can quickly review their own performance by selecting only those plays that they are involved in.
- Find – Have the computer automatically search for the next (or previous) play that meets selected criteria. For example, a basketball coach could find the next play resulting in an opponent’s lay-up to show the team how the opponent is able to penetrate the lane or create fast breaks.
- You can also quickly move to different parts of the video by adjusting the slider or game clock, or by clicking on any selected play listed in the “playgrid”.
- Zoom in on the action: If the play is too far from the camera, zoom in to enlarge the video (even during playback!).
- Take notes: Enter comments and instruction on specific plays for your players. Mark selected plays to make them easy to find later.
- Distribute the game analysis to your players: If your computer has a CD burner and software, you can burn the video and game analysis data onto a CD or DVD to give to your team or players. Your players can then use the FREE “Player's Edition” of the software to view the game analysis that you have created.
TWO WAYS TO SAVE:
SAVE MONEY - Instead of buying a permanent license for the Champion's Edition, you can buy an annual subscription that gives you access to all of the features of the Champion's Edition for an entire year. An expired subscription will revert to the Player's Edition so you can continue to view game analyses that you previously created.
